Along with delicate work like carding and weaving, making a felt requires a lot of hard work. For the first night, sheep’s wool is selected, cleaned, dried, and a part of it is combed through a comb, spun, dyed with the necessary dyes. It is piled on top of specially prepared and woven bamboo. Then the felt is faced, that is, the top of the flowers is covered with treated white wool, and about one inch of black wool is written on the edges. This working condition is called “face-to-face”. Then the felting process begins by rolling the cane. Felt production is one of the oldest arts in the Turkmen people. we have women who are experts in preparing special parties. The women who managed to say “the party prepared by the plan” are the continuation of this national document.
