CORNFLOWER

There are about 600 species of herbaceous plants in the world, about 13 in Turkmenistan. The plant blooms and bears fruit in May-June. One root plant forms 200-250 baskets. They produce about 7000 seeds. Often found in sandy and sandy soils. Cornflower is found in our country in the vicinity of Ashgabat and in Magtymguly. This is one of the rarest plants in our country. Its stock is negligible for medicinal purposes. For medicinal purposes, flowers (outer flowers) serve as raw materials. They must be collected in full bloom. Dry should be in a place protected from the sun, under a canopy or in a well-ventilated area. The content of cyanine glycoside, bitter glycoside of sentaunin, mineral salts and other less studied substances was found in the cornflower flower. The flower of the plant is used as a diuretic in folk medicine. It also helps with kidney failure and urinary incontinence. Cornflower flowers are a good choleretic extract. Helps with swelling of the mucous membrane of the eye. One tablespoon of the plant should be poured into a glazed container, pour a glass of boiling water, boil for 45 minutes and strain after cooling. The resulting tincture must be poured with 200 ml of boiling water and stored for 2 days. Drink 1 tablespoon 3 times a day.
