The Taekwondo competition for the Cup of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Turkmenistan has ended at the Basha-Bash Martial Arts Sports Complex in the Olympic Village in our capital. This competition, organized jointly with the National Taekwondo Center of Turkmenistan, was attended by athletes from the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, as well as Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary provinces. Thus, about 130 athletes took part in the cup competition. During the fierce battles, the athletes demonstrated the basic principles of martial arts. As a result, the team from Mary province won the cup. In addition, the winners of the taekwondo competition were announced. They were awarded certificates of honor, medals and valuable gifts by the organizers. This competition, which has been held since 2010, inspires young athletes to success. The Taekwondo competition for the Cup of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Turkmenistan is one of the important stages in the development of bilateral relations.
