With the triumph of the diplomatic policy of our President based on the Policy of positive Neutrality, our country attaches great importance to strengthening initiatives in the world community aimed at regional peace and sustainable development. Fruitful cooperation, forming the basis of large-scale international relations, plays an important role to provide for world peace and a prosperity life in political and diplomatic conditions. The foreign policy of our state always brings to the fore the development of humanitarian and generally human relations in the world. Recently, Turkmenistan and the neighboring Republic of Azerbaijan signed a Memorandum on joint exploration, development and exploitation of hydrocarbon resources of the Dostluk (Friendship) field in the Caspian Sea. As part of the development of international relations, the Inter-MFA consultations were held between Turkmenistan and the Sultanate of Oman at the ministerial level. The meeting was attended by the Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi. During the talks, a wide range of issues related to bilateral mutually beneficial relations in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian fields were discussed. The importance of interaction at a high level in the further development of relations between two countries was emphasized. Opening ways for developing international relations and, as its consequence, promoting national economic systems is a modern principle of our State.
