Turkmenistan, consistently implementing a foreign policy based on the principles of peace, positive neutrality and effective international cooperation, is actively working to coordinate efforts to develop solutions to important tasks related to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The transport system plays an important role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. In this area, our country is launching large-scale projects to develop multimodal transit transport and logistics infrastructures, which are spread regionally and internationally, and is implementing them together with foreign partners. Important initiatives aimed at improving the transport system in accordance with the modern conditions of the world economy are widely supported around the world. This is clearly evidenced by the unanimous adoption of the Resolution “Additional information on the procedure for holding the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries” at the 63rd plenary session of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
