In the sports school of Gokdepe district, a number of activities have been carried out in the first 4 months of 2022 on the basis of an approved plan of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan. During the year of “The era of the people with Arkadag”, 19 professional coaches in the sports school regularly train in 12 sports. They compete with their athletes in district-level competitions, including their athletes in the district’s national team, participate in provincial and republican competitions. Athletes of experienced coaches of the sports school such as S. Setdarov in karate, A. Pashshiev in chess and G. Annadurdyev in athletics have repeatedly won prizes in provincial and republican competitions. In addition, experienced senior coaches teach beginner coaches the finer skills of coaching and regular training with athletes. The Esteemed President, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, noted the participation of the national teams of Turkmenistan in the 2024 Summer Olympics in sports. Coaches of the sports school involved in Olympic sports work closely with the National Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan. Qualified coaches of the sports school work tirelessly day and night to win the performance of our athletes in the sports team in response to the care of the Esteemed President.
